Introducing the Good Bloggers “Pay It Forward” Award

In response to my last post, Paying It Forward: My fellow bloggers, Heather of My Husband Ate All My Ice Cream had a great idea. She put together a Pay It Forward Award. Here’s the premise:

Write a post similar to the one I wrote yesterday, including the name of their blog, one of your favorite posts, a brief summary, and–if you like–the reason you enjoyed the post. This is a great way to encourage budding writers (not to mention link sharing!).

Pay It Forward Blogger Award badge

You have been bestowed with the honor of the Pay It Forward Award. Please insert this award at the top of a blog post and find FIVE fellow bloggers to bestow it upon. Mention them in your post, along with a link to your favorite post on their blog. Next, comment on their blog to let them know you are bestowing the award on them, and that they should do the same. And remember: Good Bloggers Pay It Forward!

Be sure to thank the person who gave you the Pay It Forward Award. Happy blogging!

  1. I have bestowed upon you the Versatile Blogger Award! Please stop by here to pick it up! http://www.myhusbandateallmyicecream.com/2011/05/versatile-blogger-award-take-2.html

  2. This is a great idea. How do I get involved?

    • Click on the image then save it to your computer. Insert the image into a post where you’ll link to other blogs that you enjoy and describe why. You could also go to their blog and comment to let them know, but they’ll probably see the pingback in their stats and decide to check it out. That’s all there is to it. 🙂

  3. You’re not just a good blogger, you’re a great blogger. 😉
